Ronald D. Hunt, M.D., Chief Executive Officer
Undergraduate - Southern Methodist University, Dallas Texas
Medical school - University of Texas in Galveston
Residency - Scott and White Memorial Hospital, Temple Texas

After completing residency in anesthesiology, Dr. Hunt moved to Charlotte, NC to begin private practice in 1991 and has remained practicing full time within the same group but has worn many hats. He served as President of Anesthesiology Consultants of Charlotte and led this group of physicians to merge with Southeast Anesthesia to form Southeast Anesthesiology Consultants. Dr. Hunt then served seven years as the Vice Chair of this group. He also envisioned and succeeded in forming one of the first truly integrated CAM/alternative medical practice for treating patients with chronic pain. This clinic consisted of MD/chiropractor/physical therapist/acupuncture/massage therapist/herbal support.

Dr. Hunt recently completed an in-house hospital study looking at the use and success of using aromatherapy for dealing with post-operative nausea which was published in the world renowned international peer reviewed journal of Anesthesia & Analgesia Sept 2013. He is currently becoming trained and certified in clinical aromatherapy and is also helping with editing the 3rd edition of "Clinical Aromatherapy, Essential Oils in Practice" by Jane Buckle RN, PhD. Dr. Hunt is a founding member and the CEO of BALANCED HEALTH plus.



Richard Blackwell, PhD, President, Product Research and Development
Undergraduate – University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC
Graduate school – Duke Divinity School, Durham, NC
Graduate school – University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill, NC

Dr. Blackwell completed his doctoral internship in counseling psychology at the University of California at Irvine and moved to Charlotte, NC in 1983 to teach in the graduate program in counseling at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. During his teaching career, Dr. Blackwell developed extensive consulting relationships with Presbyterian Hospital, working as chaplain to the Cancer Center, and with local and international companies, working in professional training and development.

He also developed a highly successful private practice of psychology and, from mid-1990 has devoted himself exclusively to his clients in that practice. Dr. Blackwell has conducted workshops and led training groups addressing issues of stress management and the integration of holistic approaches to wellness at a local, national, and international level and continues to be interested and active in those fields. Dr. Blackwell is a founding member and the President of BALANCED HEALTH plus.



Richard C. Rauh, CPA Chief Financial Officer

Mr. Rauh graduated with honors from Lindenwold University with a BA in Business Administration, with a concentration in accounting. Mr. Rauh earned his Certified Public Accountant designation for the State of Missouri in 1981. He has over twenty-five years in the healthcare financial field. He has served as Audit Supervisor with a state government Division of Audit, auditing hospitals and nursing homes receiving state and/or federal funds, as Controller of a 300+ prestigious physician medical practice, as Vice President of Finance of a specialty surgical hospital.

Mr. Rauh has also served in major University Medical Schools on the east and west coasts in the physician practice arena, and as Vice President of a three hospital system. He recently completed serving as Executive Director and Chief Financial Officer for a large Charlotte, NC based anesthesia and pain management group. Mr. Rauh is the CPA for BALANCED HEALTH plus




Megan E. Etheredge, Office Manager 

Mrs. Etheredge graduated from The Art Institute of Charlotte with a BA in Art and a concentration in Interior Design and marketing. She came to BALANCED HEALTH plus with a wide variety of work experiences and abilities that have allowed her to manage the tasks and responsibilities inherent in her role with the company. 

Mrs. Etheredge skill sets includes IT, Microsoft Office Suite, customer service, marketing and sales.  Her quiet in the storm and her sense of organization and structure make her an invaluable member of the team. Mrs. Etheredge is the Office Manager for BALANCED HEALTH plus
