The Ins and Outs of Nausea at BALANCED HEALTH plus®

Here at BALANCED HEALTH plus®, we know that nausea may be a common occurrence in your everyday life. Nausea is a very common ailment in medicine and is experienced by almost everyone at some time. Here at our alternative health company, we want to teach our customers a little bit more about the common occurrence of nausea.

So what exactly is nausea? By its simple definition, nausea is the general term for describing a queasy stomach, which can occur with or without the feeling of vomiting. Nausea can be felt anywhere from the back of the throat to the chest to the upper abdomen. Although nausea may not be painful, it definitely is not comfortable. Of course, we know that nausea can be much more complicated than simply feeling uncomfortable in these areas—it can have many different causes.

Causes of Nausea

In fact, there are three different areas of the body that can cause nausea to occur. One of the areas is within the abdominal and pelvic organs. There are several different issues that can lead to nausea from these areas including inflammation of the liver or pancreas, blocked or stretched intestine or stomach, and inflammation of the kidneys amongst other issues. However, one of the most common causes of nausea from this area stems from viral infections.

Other parts of the body that can cause nausea to occur can come from the brain and spinal fluid. A common occurrence of nausea can be seen with migraine headaches, head injury, brain tumors, stroke, and bleeding into or around the brain. Nausea can also be a symptom of glaucoma, or it could just be an occurrence of the brain’s reaction to pain, significant emotional distress, or exposure to unpleasant sights or odors.

Nausea can also be traced back to balance centers of the inner ear. The occurrence can be stemmed to vertigo—a dizzy sensation of spinning, moving, or falling while you are still. Common conditions like motion sickness, viral infections in the ear, sensitivity to position change, and certain brain/nerve tumors can cause vertigo to occur.

Management of Nausea

But instead of focusing on the causes of nausea, let’s look into what you can do to manage your nausea symptoms. For starters, there are many different ways you can prevent nausea by following some basic guidelines. These guidelines include things such as eating small meals every few hours, avoiding bothersome odors, and avoiding drinking alcohol. However, if these preventative measures are not enough to fend away nausea, our company has developed alternative medicine products, so you may experience relief from your nausea symptoms.

We call it our AROMAID aromatherapy product—a hands-free device that allows you to directly inhale relaxing aromas.
